Pneumatic Slurry Control Valve

A pneumatic slurry control valve is a ready-to-automate slurry valve that integrates the wear-resistant sliding-plate throttling body with a pneumatic actuator in one unit. On a standard clean-air supply and a positioner signal, it performs remote automatic flow control without any separate manual drive. The core throttling component is a tungsten-carbide opposed sliding-plate pair, chosen for high-erosion, high-solids service where ordinary trims suffer cavitation and particle wear. The pocket-free straight-through bore prevents slurry from packing or jamming the mechanism. The actuator can be a diaphragm, cylinder or scotch-yoke unit, paired with HEP, YT or a digital smart positioner; the modular design lets the carbide slide-trim be replaced without removing the valve from the line.

The real buyer risk with an automated slurry valve is not the valve alone but the interface between valve, actuator and positioner: stroke sizing, bench set and feedback matching. Because we manufacture the valve body, the carbide slide plate, the pneumatic actuator and the positioner in our own plant, the complete package is assembled and tested as one unit before dispatch. The customer only has to connect air supply and control signal on site, which removes the cost and delay of sourcing and matching three components separately and avoids field mismatches between actuator thrust and trim break-out force.

The integrated actuator-plus-positioner package modulates abrasive slurry automatically, while the carbide slide pair and pocket-free bore prevent jamming under high solids.

Factory-matched actuator sizing provides the break-out thrust needed to move a carbide trim laden with dense slurry, and remote automated control suits continuous production lines.

3. Environmental hazardous-waste fluid and high-concentration paper-pulp loops:

Customizable linear/equal-percentage characteristics plus interchangeable slide trim let the same valve platform be retuned and refurbished without line removal, lowering lifetime cost on high-wear service.

The complete valve, actuator and positioner package is export-packed as one unit. Before shipment we run and film the integrated pressure and stroke test, and provide packing photos, packing list and the full set of export customs documents. The cargo is tracked throughout; if any part arrives damaged we send a remote replacement guide or ship the actuator and carbide-trim spares immediately.
