A Miniature Electric Actuator is a compact, single-envelope electric drive built around a micro gear motor and an integrated control board, designed specifically for small-bore valves where a conventional electric actuator would be oversized. The unit accepts a standard 4-20 mA control signal and returns a 4-20 mA position feedback, so it modulates small control valves without a separate positioner or air supply. Output torque runs from 5 to 200 N·m, with a small thrust option of 300~2000 N, and control accuracy is about ±1% of full scale. Internal overload and over-temperature protection shut the motor down before it stalls or burns out on a jammed valve, while a standard manual override handwheel lets an operator hand-position the valve when power is lost. The housing is anti-corrosion anodized aluminum at IP65, suitable for clean rooms and lightly humid environments, and because no compressed-air tubing is required it eliminates the cost of running an air supply to small skids and bench-mounted valves.
Small valves are easy to buy for but hard to drive: an off-the-shelf micro actuator either is too weak for the stem or overpowers it and damages a delicate trim. We design the micro motor, reduction gear and control board in our actuator R&D lab rather than repacking a generic gearbox, and tune the output torque and signal logic to the specific small-bore valve travel, then endurance-test each unit for continuous start-stop cycling before shipment.
